What is Pixel Daily?▼
Pixel Daily is a daily collaborative pixel art game. Every day a new theme is revealed and anyone can paint a 10×10 pixel tile to interpret it. All tiles are permanently placed into a shared mosaic that grows every day.
Do I need an account?▼
No. You need no account and no sign-up. A unique anonymous ID is saved in your browser to track your submissions, but no personal information is collected.
How many tiles can I submit per day?▼
One tile per device per day. The daily theme resets at midnight UTC.
Where are the tiles placed in the mosaic?▼
Tiles are placed in the order they are submitted, filling rows of 50 tiles. Earlier submissions appear in the top-left of the mosaic.
Can I edit my tile after submitting?▼
No — tiles are permanent once submitted. This is by design: the mosaic is a snapshot of everyone's first impulse for that day's theme.
What happens to old mosaics?▼
All mosaics are saved permanently and browsable in the Theme Archive. You can zoom into any day's mosaic and explore every tile.
How often does the theme change?▼
Every day at midnight UTC. Each theme is pre-selected from a curated list of 60 creative prompts that rotate throughout the year.
Is Pixel Daily free?▼
Yes, completely free with no ads. It's a community project made for fun.
